Frank Weathers, PhD is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Auburn University. He received his B.A. in psychology from Butler University in 1984 and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Indiana University in 1990. After completing his internship at the Boston VA Medical Center he served as a clinical research psychologist at the National Center for PTSD until 1997 when he joined the faculty at Auburn. His primary research interests are in the assessment and treatment of PTSD and the classification of psychopathology. He is a co-author of the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS), the PTSD Checklist (PCL), and other measures of trauma and PTSD.
