David Foy, PhD

David Foy, PhD, is currently Professor of Psychology in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology, Pepperdine University. He also holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor of Psychology, Headington Program in International Trauma, Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Foy has many years experience as a clinician, teacher, and researcher in the field of psychological reactions to trauma, with most experience in combat-related PTSD. He is the author of a widely used handbook, Treating PTSD: Cognitive-Behavioral Strategies, and has served as senior research advisor to the National Center for PTSD, Menlo Park Division, since 1991.
