John Boyle, PhD

John Boyle, PhD, is a Senior Partner of Schulman, Ronca & Bucuvalas, Inc. (SRBI) a national public opinion research firm. He has served on the research faculty of Columbia University’s School of Public Health and the graduate teaching faculty of the University of Maryland. Dr. Boyle has twenty-five years of experience in health care surveys for the federal government, universities, non-profits and commercial organization. He is currently President Elect of the DC chapter of the American Association of Public Opinion Research.

Dr. Boyle has designed and managed multiple large prospective surveys with longitudinal follow-up, including the fourth wave of the Harlem Adolescent Health Project, the National Women’s Study, and several national longitudinal surveys on victimization among children and adolescents for the University of New Hampshire and the Medical University of South Carolina. He has conducted numerous surveys of the impact of national disasters as traumatic events among community populations, including a longitudinal survey of the impact of Hurricane Hugo and the Loma Prieta Earthquake among adults and adolescents.
